Benefits of Fiberglass

Fiberglass is a good choice for a variety of industrial applications.

 Corrosion Resistant

The proprietary “wet-out” process ensures complete reinforcement saturation. Fiberglass will not rot and is impervious to bugs and a broad range of corrosive environments. FRP has been successfully used for indoor and outdoor applications at hotels, restaurants, chemical plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, and in many other corrosive environments.

High Strength

Stronger than structural steel on a pound-for-pound basis. Used for building structures, walkways, platforms, etc. Did you know FRP even gets stronger as it gets colder?

Lightweight

Our fiberglass weighs approximately 80% less than steel and 30% less than aluminum. This translates to lower transportation costs, easier installation and less weight in structural designs.

Low Electrical Conductivity

Fiberglass is electrically non-conductive with a high dielectric capability, an excellent insulator.

Low Thermal Conductivity

Fiberglass has low thermal conductivity and is an excellent insulator.

FRP pultruded parts shall be made with a fire retardant polyester resin which meets the ASTM E-84 test for flame spread of 25 or less.

 EMI/RFI Transparent

Steel structures significantly disrupt Bluetooth, Cellular, WiFi networks, radio and television signals. Fiberglass structures and grating are an essential part of structures that need to be electronically transparent. Nearly invisible to cellular emissions and radio frequencies. FRP has been used extensively for applications ranging from architectural screening to entire structures - anywhere that electro-magnetic (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI) is a concern.

Ease of Fabrication

Fiberglass products can be field fabricated using simple carpenter tools with abrasive cutting edges and is easily lifted into place during installation.

 Extended Life Cycle Costs

Tough, durable and impact resistance. Will not dent and deform like metal. Resists rot and corrosion eliminating the need for constant maintenance. Provides long term, cost effect solutions in many applications.

 Low Environmental Impact

The long service lifetime of FRP building materials significantly reduces maintenance and replacement costs and energy consumption related to those repairs and replacements through the years of service of your structure.
• Non hazardous to the environment.
•FRP Products are highly resistant to rot and corrosion
•Have a longer and more economical service life
•Rarely require energy-intensive maintenance & replacement
